as ___ as の形にはさむのは、比較級や最上級ではなく形容詞の原級です。したがって tall が正解になります。「同じくらい背が高い」という対等な比較を表す表現で、taller や tallest は as ~ as の中には入れられません。

not as ___ as の形にはさむのは原級なので heavy。
This bag is than that one.
than があるので比較級にします。cheap は短い語なので er を付けて cheaper とします。

the ... of all は最上級の目印です。important は長い語なので most を付けて most important とします。

like ... better は「〜のほうが好き」という意味で、A or B とたずねるときに使います。

後ろに than があるので比較級。cold の比較級 colder。

than があるので比較級です。fast は er を付けて faster とし、more fast とは言いません。

the と in the library があるので最上級です。old は est を付けて oldest にします。

difficult は長い語なので比較級は more difficult です。difficulter という形はありません。

the と of the year があり、「一年で最も暑い月」という一番を表す最上級の文です。よって hottest が正解です。hot は短母音+子音字で終わるので t を重ねて hottest とし、more hot という形は作りません。

than があるので比較級。big は g を重ねて bigger。

the ... in our class は最上級の形です。tall は est を付けて tallest とします。

「the + 比較級, the + 比較級」で「〜すればするほど、ますます…」を表します。後半が the better となっているので、前半も the を伴う The more が正解です。単なる More では、この連動する構文になりません。

one of the＋最上級＋複数名詞の形です。最上級には the が必要なので the longest となります。

動詞 speaks を説明するので副詞 fluently（流ちょうに）が入ります。as と as の間はもとの形です。

空所の後ろは比較級 shorter なので、比較級を強める語が入ります。比較級を強調できるのは far や much であり、far shorter で「はるかに短い」となります。very は原級を強めるので比較級には使えず、far が正解です。

「以前の作品ほどおもしろくない」という意味なので、less ... than を使います。

left early（早く出た）に合う「期待したほど面白くなかった」。less interesting の less。

「半分」は half as long as と表します。half に a や the は付けません。

as ... as any＋単数名詞で「どの〜にも劣らず」を表します。any の後ろは単数形にします。

後ろに than があるので比較級が必要で、fast の比較級 faster が入ります。文頭寄りの much は比較級を強める語で、「ずっと速く」という意味を添えています。more fast という形は使わないため、faster が正解です。

than の後は主語+動詞の形もとれる。I am が正解で、me am や my は不可。

no less A than B で「Bに劣らずAだ」。ここでは less が正解。

最上級の範囲が場所のときは in を使います。in the country で「国内で」という意味です。

最上級の範囲が複数の人やものを指すときは of を使います。of the three brothers で「3人兄弟の中で」です。

fans は数えられる名詞なので many です。as many as で「〜もの多くの」という多さの強調を表します。
She is not so much a singer a dancer.
not so much A as B で「AというよりむしろB」を表します。「歌手というよりダンサーだ」という意味です。
The new model costs as much as the old one.
「〜の何倍」を as ~ as の前に置いて表す倍数表現です。「2倍」は twice as much as ~ とするのが定型で、twice が正解になります。two-times や double をこの位置に置くのは不自然です。
Sales this year are what they were a decade ago.
「〜の3倍」を表す倍数表現は three times。three time など単数形は不可。
Run as fast as you to catch the bus.
as ... as you can で「できるだけ〜」を表します。「できるだけ速く走りなさい」という意味です。
He worked as hard as man possibly could.
as ... as any man could で「どんな人にも劣らず」を表します。any の後ろは単数名詞にします。

people は数えられる名詞なので many です。as many as 5,000 で「5,000人もの」という意味になります。

as ~ as にはさんで金額の大きさを強調するのは much。money は不可算なので many は使わない。

worse はすでに比較級なので、比較級を強める far が入ります。very は原級を強める語なので比較級には使えません。

2つのうちの一方を「より良い方」と特定するときは the better と the を付けます。3つ以上でないので best は使いません。

「The＋比較級, the＋比較級」で「〜すればするほど…」を表します。後半にも the が必要なので the wiser です。

that's all（それで全部だ）から、「10ドルより多くはない」つまり「せいぜい10ドルしかない」という意味になります。数量の上限を示す no more than の一部として no more が正解です。no fewer では逆に「少なくとも」という意味になってしまいます。

no more A than B（Bでないのと同様にAでない）の構文。相関する than が正解。

no more A than B の形で「君が愚か者でないのと同じで彼も愚か者ではない」という意味になります。no more がセットです。

none the wiser は「読んでも結局わからないまま」という決まった言い方です。none the＋比較級の形なので wiser にします。

superior（〜より優れた）はラテン語系の比較表現で、than ではなく to を使います。inferior や senior も同じです。

prefer A to B（BよりAを好む）の形。比較の than ではなく to を使う。

by far は最上級を「断然」と強める語です。very で最上級を強めるときは the very best のように the の後に置きます。
No other city in Japan is Tokyo.
「No other＋単数名詞＋as 原級 as」で最上級と同じ意味を表します。than がないので比較級は使えません。
No other mountain in Japan is as Mt. Fuji.
後ろに as があるので、as high as の形にします。「No other＋単数名詞」と組んで最上級と同じ意味になります。
Mt. Fuji is higher than mountain in Japan.
比較級で最上級の意味を表すときは「than any other＋単数名詞」の形にします。自分以外の全部と比べる言い方です。
